Who we are is so arbitrary.
What country we were born in.
What family we were born in.
The name that was chosen for us.
The religion and culture that was attributed to us.
The aspirations that were handed to us.
It’s all so abstract.
None of it really belongs to us at all.
And knowing that is what freedom is.
