Are You Special? Yes, You Are!

This morning, like every morning, I was doing my meditation where I activate the golden rod of light throughout my being and connect my energies to Mother Earth and the Creator (check out my ‘Audio Meditation Tools’ page for more information about that).  I literally plug into the heart chakra of the Creator, in alignment with the Creator and Mother Earth.  And as I did that today, I recalled times when I felt embarrassed to share with others that I received this or that piece of wisdom or understanding from Master Jesus or Mother Mary or Lord Buddha or Mother Earth.  I am less embarrassed but somewhat reluctant with some people to mention what I have learned from the Archangels or Ascended Masters or Star Beings, although I find that’s more accepted than mentioning the big guns.

Why am I so self-conscious of sharing that?  The fear of being judged, as has happened, it could be the deadly silence that follows or when someone says; “oh yeah, right,” because they are sceptical or even, “what makes you so special?”

Well, yes, I am special.  I am a divine being, an expression of the Creator, so of course it’s not only possible, it’s perfectly natural to have a conversation with any of these higher beings.  They are unconditionally loving, they are welcoming and they delight in every exchange.  But I’m not uniquely special because we are all the same.  Anybody can connect to the energies of any one of these beings and engage in an exchange with them.  Anybody can talk with the incredibly powerful and loving energy of Mother Mary, for instance, and feel her compassion and serenity whilst receiving her wisdom.  We are all worthy, we are all capable of doing so and they are waiting for us.

All we need do is enter a deeply relaxed state and open our hearts, calling on whomever we are inviting to connect to us.  Then, just let whatever comes, come.  It may be feelings, pictures in our mind, thoughts and words, as though they are speaking with us.  It may be a natural two-sided dialogue that we fall into.  If we don’t get in the way, if we trust and let it flow, it will become more and more clear, more authentic and feel deeply enriching.  And when we do it often, or maybe even every day, we can be certain we are receiving such enrichment that nourishes and fulfils our being and our lives.  Eventually, when we do it for years, we will begin to perceive that there isn’t really any separation between us and them anyway, we are one.
