Amenet Drago & Mastery the Black Dragon

I first received my soul name in the summer of 2018. I was waking from sleep and heard “Amenet” spoken, strong and loud. I knew instantly that it was the name of my soul. When I received my sacred soul initiation a few months later, the name came through again. I did some research into Amenet, since I hadn’t come across this name before that I could remember.

The first information I found was about Amunet, the ancient Egyptian Goddess, female counterpart and twin flame of Amun. She is the original primal divine Goddess whose name means ‘she who is hidden’. This title refers to her being hidden in plain sight. She is everywhere, present in everything, and yet, only the initiated can see her presence because she is hidden within.

The ancient Egyptians didn’t use vowels when writing, so her name is spelled in numerous forms; Amunet, Amenet, Amaunet…

In the Akan culture, the same deities are known as Amenet and Amen. Akan is primarily present in Ghana and Ivory Coast, with an ancestry clearly rooted in ancient Egypt. Amenet is the supreme Great Mother and with Amen, they are the embodiment of Divine Union.

I am not suggesting that my soul is that of a goddess, except from the understanding that I believe we are all divine beings, so I do like to think of myself as such, but not exclusively so.

I recall several ancient Egyptian past lives, it feels like ancient Egyptian culture is the time my soul has loved the best and I remember clearly when my Earthly personality was called Meritamen, which means ‘blessed of the hidden one’.

During 2019, I made a vision quest and after that, a black dragon started to make itself known to me. I began to feel his presence during meditations. I felt a kind of awakened memory of extreme affection and deep knowing with this powerful being, so I tuned in and received his name, Mastery. After that, it was as though he was often around in the background.

Fast forward to late 2020 and I was painting my newly acquired shamanic drum. I knew intuitively that my dragon friend, Mastery, was going on the drum’s image and as it turned out, so was my soul, Amenet, in her Egyptian form. As I tuned into the energies, four words came forward to be painted along the rim of the drum; Soul, Dragon, Mastery and Amenet.

I knew these words were intimately bound to my soul calling, and somehow, they arranged themselves into Soul Mastery and Amenet Dragon, but when I painted the last word, I intuitively stopped before I painted the last letter. Soul Mastery became the name of my soul mission and I realised that Amenet Drago was the true name of my soul, although I sense that Drago is more a title than a name. They are now an intricate part of my identity.

Later, I asked my soul group, the collective from which my soul extends, to tell me about the relationship between my soul and Mastery the black dragon. They told me of a distant time on Earth when people and dragons walked together. A time we know as Lemuria. It was not like nowadays, humans were not restricted to the physical realms, they had a great many more abilities than are awake in humanity currently. A dragon and a person could create a partnership that was deep and abiding. They would achieve many marvellous things together and my soul was such, a Drago or dragon walker.

Eventually, as humanity faced a corruption of their energies, the dragons retreated to the inner planes, but the deep bonds remained. I believe there are many people alive today on Earth whose souls are calling in their beloved dragons again. The dragons are here in the energetic to be with our souls and help us fulfil our soul purpose. My dragon is working with my soul as we support souls who are transitioning through the process we call death.

On New Year’s Eve night as 2021 ended, I received guidance from my soul group explaining how Mastery and I are here to support the Truth Maker souls who are choosing to transition at this time from their Earthly existence to the inner planes. As they transition, they are creating powerful energies of truth which are grounded for humanity’s ascension. This work often takes place during my sleep and when I’m engaged to journey as a soul guide.

I humbly ask that I, as my personality, Ananda, will always be the conduit of love and peace that my soul, Amenet Drago, and my dragon, Mastery, require to fulfil their truth and purpose.

On Where To Look For God

“God likes to play hide-and-seek, but because there is nothing outside of God, God has no one but themself to play with. But they get over this difficulty by pretending that they are not themself. This is God’s way of hiding from God.

God pretends that they are you and I and all the people in the world, all the animals, plants, all the rocks and all the stars. In this way, they have strange and wonderful adventures, some of which are terrible and frightening. But these are just like bad dreams, for when God wakes up they will disappear.

Now, when God plays “hide” and pretends that they are you and I, God does it so well that it takes God a long time to remember where and how they hid themself. But that’s the whole fun of it, just what God wanted to do.

God doesn’t want to find themself too quickly, for that would spoil the game. That is why it is so difficult for you and me to find out that we are God in disguise, pretending not to be God. But, when the game has gone on long enough, all of us WAKE UP, stop pretending, and REMEMBER that we are all one single Self – the God who is all that there is and who lives forever and ever.

You may ask why God sometimes hides in the form of horrible people, or pretends to be people who suffer great disease and pain. Remember, first, that God isn’t really doing this to anyone but God. Remember too, that in almost all the stories you enjoy there have to be bad people as well as good people, for the thrill of the tale is to find out how the good people will grow as they get the better of the bad.”

Crystal Prayer for Afghanistan

A beautiful woman called Diana Cooper put out a post on FB which gave an exercise for crystal healing for Afghanistan.  She suggested a selection of stones and crystals that exist naturally in the region and gave guidelines for connecting with them, in order to increase peace, freedom and other wonderful qualities in a troubled country. 

Somebody left a comment; “I don’t think crystals would do the trick, genuine prayer would change Afghanistan.”

Somebody replied; “This is a prayer.”

A reply came back; “Do you think I have to pray to crystals or to God?”

And to that, I say now what I said then:

From where I’m looking the Creator is in everything, the Creator is everywhere, the Creator doesn’t have ego and receives all prayers that come from the heart, whether using the Creator’s name or not.  The crystalline consciousness is another expression of the Creator, dedicated to the divine will and divine plan of the Creator.  Nothing happening here is taking place separately from God, it’s just a question of really seeing God.

And now I’d like to share Diana’s crystal healing technique:

Think about the spiritual qualities of the stones (listed below).

Ask the stone to connect to the same type of crystal or gem in Afghanistan, radiating their qualities to all the people there, Afghans and Taliban.

Mentally say, “Let there be peace and freedom in Afghanistan”.

Know that you are making beneficial energetic, spiritual links to raise the frequency of Afghanistan and its people.

SAPPHIRE – deep blue.  This is the materialised energy of Archangel Michael and offers protection, strength and courage.

EMERALD – bright green.  This is the materialised energy of Archangel Raphael and touches people with healing, abundance and expanded consciousness.

RUBY – red with gold.  This is the materialised energy of Archangel Uriel and brings vitality, peace, confidence and wisdom. 

LAPIS LAZULI – deep blue.  Lapis promotes protection, peace, harmony, healing, truth and honest communication.

TOPAZ – mid blue.  Topaz helps people attune to their Higher Self and promotes honesty and openness.  It offers purification and brings joy, abundance and good health.

AQUAMARINE – light sea green-blue.  Fosters tolerance, calm, relaxation and cleansing.  It helps you to trust and let go.

GARNET – usually dark red.  Garnet re-energises and strengthens, bringing safety and abundance.  It supports higher thinking and self-empowerment.

TOURMALINE – usually black.  This is a grounding stone that helps you connect to the Earth for stability.  It promotes reconciliation and tolerance.  It also encourages healing and good relationships.

FLUORITE – multi-coloured.  Fluorite aids spiritual connections, positivity and intuition.  It encourages self-confidence and balance, absorbing and dissolving lower energies and stress.

KUNZITE – pink to violet.  This beautiful crystal brings love, joy and self-worth.

QUARTZ – white.  Spiritual growth, spirituality, inspiration, concentration, harmony.

Is love your goal?

Are you focused on the embodiment and expression of love?

Are you making love your foundation?

When love becomes our foundation

It is the bedrock of all that we are.

We recognise the magic that is within us.

We recognise the magic in everything.

When love is our foundation,

We have progressed beyond the conscious expression of  

The embodiment of our love.

We recognise that we are love in action.

I love that phrase – love in action.

Nobody can be love in action all the time,

There are times we feel the opposite of love.

And that’s a healing and a releasing process,

Let’s recognise it as such,

Because it’s not a reflection on how well we’re doing on our spiritual journey.

Divine Union Is You

We live our lives with the illusion of separation and it causes us so much trouble and gives us so many rich experiences for our growth.

A double edged sword, you might say.

We are now fast-tracking our growth and healing and bringing that sense of separation to an end as we invite and embody divine union.

How do we do this? We activate and ignite our twin flame.

Your twin flame is an energy that sits at the core of your soul. Activating it is akin to connecting with the truth of our being. You see, we are divine. You are divine, you are divine now, always have been, always will be. You are never alone, you are a beacon of love, in fact, you are love incarnate. You are always everything that is, everything.

But the question is, do you sense, feel, acknowledge these deep truths about you?

If you do, you will never seek anything outside of yourself.
You will never feel lonely or as though you don’t belong.
You will never need healing.
You will always be complete and balanced.

Death is Love Teaching Us That We are One

We have such negative ideas about death in our culture.

And, of course, we don’t have to.

The truth is, humanity carries such a deep separation wound.

Separation from the divine,

From the Creator,

From each other,

From ourselves.

And so we fear death.

Because we only see separation

Where it does not exist.

And that can manifest as abandonment

Because we are here to learn and grow.

So, death comes into our lives to teach us.

Abandonment comes forward to teach us.

Rejection comes forward to teach us.

To teach us that we are love,

That we carry all we seek within ourselves.

We are always whole,

We are always divine,

We are always love.

We are never alone,

We are never separate from anything or anyone.

We are never abandoned,

We never were.

Death is here to show us

That we are so much more than our bodies

And we cannot lose anything or anyone

And if we look inside

We will see that there is nothing that is not us.

Welcoming The Goddess Energies

Recently, I’ve entered into training with the Fellowship of Isis, Goddess training that will take me a year to complete, so I predict some majorly Goddess inspired posts appearing from time to time.

And indeed, even though the course itself doesn’t start until July, I have already entered into conversation and exploration with fellow students about the goddess energies. 

And that got me pondering about the way the Goddess vibe has really never not been in my life.  I can’t speak for the cradle, but from being a little girl I had the deepest relationship with this energy that was both the land and also a kind of body-less consciousness of a feminine nature.   

This was my most nurturing relationship throughout childhood. I had a difficult childhood and the active emotional response I experienced towards my adopted mother was fear. My sense of self was soon diminished in early life, well before the age of seven, and I didn’t make friends. So, taking the family dog walking in my wild backyard twice a day was my salvation. That time with the dog and the land saved me. I connected to this loving, gentle energy that I eventually identified as Mother Earth. She was everywhere but most of all, she was felt when I was in the landscape, on my own, with or without the dog. Then, I felt loved and held. And rooted and free.

So, it’s not surprising that the Goddess has been a huge focus throughout my adult life. My mother may have invoked fear but she also modelled how empowered women can be. Nobody was more powerful than she was in our family, in my little girl world.

It’s understandable that we pick up our ideas of Goddess and God from early relationships with our personal mother-figure and father-figure, whoever they are.

The Goddess vibration is a consciousness, one that splits into a myriad of facets. And I do believe that there are women who walked on Earth in physical bodies, women who embodied feminine divine energy and eventually came to hold the vibration of the Goddess Consciousness in their being. They now exist in the energetic world as Goddess beings. I speak of Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, Lady Quan Yin, to name but a few.

I take this understanding to the myths and legends, and I am a mythology nerd. There, Goddesses abound. Not only Greek and Roman pantheons, but Norse, Celtic, Hindu, Native American, you can go anywhere and find Goddesses. There are many stories that represent her and yet, do not name her, like Sleeping Beauty, Snow White. She is everywhere. All these are her many aspects, her qualities and energies.

The more I explore the Goddess energies, the more is revealed and yet, I’ll never get to the bottom of it all. And, of course I won’t, I never could. That’s as it should be. There’s a point when you’ve just got to stop trying to understand and simply absorb all that you are given to hold.

But what I’ve come to pondering is why am I splitting the divine into Goddess and God, when we are embracing oneness? Why am I focusing on the Goddess now? What does that do to my relationship with the Creator? Which is paramount to me.

The Goddess Consciousness is the embodiment of the divine feminine, which is rising now towards unity, and the Creator is the embodiment of all-that-is, the embodiment of oneness. How do I reflect the divine feminine and divine masculine within me?

Being in Conscious Presence

“Let not your heart regret a single moment that you have lived, nor need you tarry in the past any longer.  It is the present moment that holds your fulfilment.

Be at peace, for you are upon the path that your soul is choosing.”

I am waking up those energies within my being, my soul’s core, that have called mastery into my consciousness. Mastery has been present with me for some time. I painted a dragon called Mastery on my shamanic drum recently and when I wrote the words ‘Mastery Soul’ on the side, realised I had received the name of my new service, only the other way around, Soul Mastery.

Mastery brings energies that are reflected in the name, this is a word for me to explore on every level, to sit with, feel into. What does the word mastery bring deep into my being? What does it ignite?

Empowerment.  A huge amount of assuredness, confidence and skill.  A great deal of abilities.  But I think that from a spiritual point of view, mastery is about mastering one’s conscious presence.  Conscious presence is a term that’s coming up for me a lot.

This state of being is a natural remembering and returning. It is an unlearning. Unlearning patterns to the extent that one embodies a state of conscious presence without even trying. Mastery is not about trying or attempting, mastery is about moving with the flow of self, of being. It is about not getting in one’s own way, in any sense.

Becoming the soul, becoming the observer.  Becoming the Creator.  Becoming the eyes of the Creator.  Inviting and allowing that.  The Creator is looking and experiencing from the perspective of this piece of consciousness that is me.  As though the ocean is focusing its awareness through a droplet of water that spins off from its body into the air, in a moment of separation, and the ocean is experiencing that sensation. 

Mastery is ‘being’, realising, because we can’t become something we already are. It’s a question of taking off the filter that makes us see the world from a place of limitation, and ourselves from a place of limitation.

I have taken off a filter, I’m not sure how many filters there are, I think I’ve taken a few filters away, not even knowing that I was doing so.  I believe that came out of soul integration coupled with inner child healing and abandonment healing. 

When you are in this state, everything’s so easy. I don’t know yet how well I can attain this state when I’m with other people. Because, right now, I’m experiencing this state almost all the time and I’m on my own. I’ve just moved to live on my own for the first time in my life and don’t know anybody where I now live. Apart from the odd brief conversations with my neighbours and other random strangers, the only person I’m with is myself and that’s what I needed.

I needed a reset. I needed to be with myself so much more than I realised, to find out who I am, to let myself be myself. Those are some of the filters that I’ve taken off. The filters of having to be something other than my natural self because of other people influencing me and me responding to them whilst compromising myself. Sometimes, we need other people to reflect us, to learn from. Sometimes, we need space to breathe.

I will keep myself in conscious presence and then step back into a world of people at some point, but not yet. It’s like entering an experiment. We’ll see. It doesn’t matter what happens. From whatever happens, I move forward, and that’s all we do in any moment. We experience, and from whatever happens in that moment, we move forward. No presupposing, no assumptions, no judgements, no expectations, no thinking ahead or working it out. Just being.

[The image I felt best summed up conscious presence is that of my shamanic drum. It depicts my soul with her wings outstretched and her channel wide open. The black dragon, Mastery, protects her. This dragon exists in the energetic and made itself known to me a couple of years ago.

A few days ago, I asked my soul family to tell me something about the dragon energy of my soul story and this is what they said:

“Your soul is a dragon-walker. She has had a strong and abiding energy link of utter depth with one dragon since that dragon was born. He is Mastery, the black dragon that you are aware of. He remains present in your life and his energies are connecting with you more often. And they will continue to do so, for you are waking up those energies within your being, your soul’s core, that called Mastery into your consciousness. Mastery brings the energies that are reflected in his name.”

And it is from there that I decided to delve into the word mastery. The words at the top of this post also came from my soul family, I feel they are words for us all.]

Oh God, Who Art Thou?

Recently, I read a Facebook conversation about using the word God as a form of swearing. And like Facebook discussions sometimes do, it turned into a heated debate. This one was between some devout Christians and some that clearly think Christians are deluding themselves. There’s nothing like Facebook conversations to bring out a polarity of views.

The original question was about phrases people can’t stand and I was surprised to see how many were offended when people say “oh my God!”

I’m not really a user of this phrase but do sometimes say, “oh my Goddess!” and yet, I’ve never felt as though I’m offending the Goddess, more so honouring her, really. I sense it’s all a matter of perspective and intent, and, I suppose, many who do use that phrase, do so without thinking.

The word ‘God’ has never really felt a comfortable one for me, I’ve often avoided using it, opting for ‘The Creator’. ‘God’ has a masculine gender identity and I don’t feel the Creator has gender. The Creator includes everything and therefore is a perfect mix of both feminine and masculine energies.

My sense is that every one of us is a mix of feminine and masculine energy, and energy is what we are, in our fundamental state of being. I’m a woman, capable of being soft and feminine but can also bring out my masculine attributes, directive, active energy. Every woman can be the same and every man can be soft and nurturing. It’s all energy. Can you sense both the feminine and masculine qualities inside yourself?

I don’t think the Creator is much concerned, let alone offended, with swearing or name-calling. It feels like the kind of concern humans with ego and judgmental, critical bias would apply.

The Creator must have heard it all. To me, the Creator’s greatest qualities are unconditional love and compassion. That vengeful, easily offended deity depicted in the Old Testament just isn’t on my radar. I put that understanding of God down to humans interfering with the ancient texts, using God to wield their own power. It smacks of power over and the Creator’s power is found within.

I will be more aware if ever the God-word slips out, I’ve noticed that my expletives have naturally diminished under the influence of my more enlightened soul. Every word we utter is energy, every word is power, a spell and a prayer. As we raise our energies, so we reduce those lower vibrational habits. Even though we may not much notice, our soul is aware of what serves us and elevates us and what doesn’t. And when invited, our soul will regulate our thoughts, words and actions for our greater fulfilment.
