33 Steps To Align Your Connection With Earth

Today, we are taking a journey towards authenticity and interconnectedness with Earth.

Go through the following steps to activate a new relationship with Earth, Goddess Gaia and with yourself. By doing this mindfully, you are activating new programming that empowers your earth star chakra and awakens your deepest connection as a child of Earth.

Each step takes you closer to fulfilment.  The steps don’t have to be followed in the order they are arranged here, take each step as it presents itself to you.  You are not finished until you complete all the steps. If you can’t go out into nature to do this, it’s okay to visualise it.

Step 1 – Go out into nature and affirm, loud and clear, “I acknowledge and accept my connection to Earth.”  Really feel it.  When you make this acknowledgement, something fundamental shifts between yourself and the Earth.

Step 2 – Standing in nature, notice there are beautiful roots going down from your feet into the Earth, they extend through earth, sand, rock, crystal.  You become aware of the true beauty and wonder of Earth. Honour it, say out loud, “I actively honour the Earth.”

Step 3 – Go to any place you find beautiful in nature and really see it.  Breathe in the beauty.  Enjoy the beauty.  Be grateful for the beauty.  Know that all beautiful places are power spots, they are raising your energy simply by being there.

Step 4 – Go out in nature and walk on the Earth with awareness, knowing it’s a two-way connection.  As you’re walking, be very aware of your energy going right down into the planet, and at the same time, know you are receiving energy back from the Earth.

Step 5 – Actively give your light to Earth through your twelve chakras. Go into nature and call on Archangel Michael and ask for protection. Now, standing still, open your stellar gateway chakra above your head, allowing the light to pour through it. Next, open your soul star chakra. Then open your causal chakra, your crown chakra, your third eye chakra, your throat chakra, your higher heart and heart chakras. Notice your inner light pouring down and through your chakras as you open them. Now open your solar plexus chakra, your sacral chakra and your base chakra. Allow all the light energy to flow down through the open channels of your chakras and into your earth star chakra below your feet in the Earth. See and feel the light coming right down through your chakras and then spreading out beneath your feet, at your earth star chakra, in all directions. It’s spreading peace and harmony.

Step 6 – Standing in nature, sense roots going down through your feet and into the Earth.  Within the Earth, there is a crystalline chamber at the core and there stands Goddess Gaia.  She is like a great light and your roots are going down and connecting your energy into her heart.  Her love is coming up into your earth star chakra, filling it with her love.  And then her love and light come up through your chakras into your heart centre, filling your heart with her love.

Step 7 – Take a fruit that you enjoy.  Hold it in your hand.  Smell it, feel it, bless it and thank it.  Really appreciate and honour it.

Step 8 – Go out into nature to touch and feel the soil.  Pick up the rich earth, smell it, feel it.  Enjoy the wonderful feeling of beautiful, fertile soil running through your fingers. Share a deep sense of gratitude and love for this earth, honour it and bless it.

Step 9 – Go out and find a special tree.  Feel, hold and touch the tree.  Thank it for being there and for all that it does for humanity, Mother Earth and the source of all-there-is. As you share your love and gratitude, sense the love that the tree is sharing with you. Honour your tree and all trees.

Step 10 – Go out and find an acorn, chestnut or any other tree seed.  Ask the elementals to show you where to place it in the Earth to grow. Give your love and blessings to it.

Step 11 – Go out into nature and find a place where it feels totally safe to walk barefoot.  Feel the Earth, grass or sand beneath your feet.  Notice how you feel connected to the Earth when you are barefoot.  Know that this connection is activating your earth star chakra.

Step 12 – Go out and find a flower, whatever flower presents itself to you.  What colour is it?  What does it smell like?  Gently stroke a petal and thank that flower for being in your life.

Step 13 – Go out and find a place where there’s water.  Paddle in the stream or sea, stand by a lake.  Water is sacred, water carries the pure, unconditional love of the divine source around the world.  Bless that water.  Bless it whether it’s a puddle, a raindrop, an ocean or a river.  Bless the water that you shower or bathe in, that you drink, that washes your excrement away in the toilet, bless the water that constitutes your body.

Step 14 – Go outside and take a deep breath, this is prana, it gives you life, it is your connection to source.  Breathe in, knowing that you are alive through your breath. Give thanks for the air that you breathe every day.

Step 15 – Be with fire, it may be in your hearth, an outside fire pit or bonfire, or candle flames.  See the flames flickering and crackling and transmuting old energy.  Know that every flame is clearing something, leaving just ashes behind.  Be aware that something brand new is replacing the old.  And be aware of how awesome and powerful the transmuting power of fire is. Honour the fire energy.

Step 16 – Go outside into nature and invite the creatures and animals to come to you.  Sit quietly, lovingly and harmlessly.  Because you are harmless, animals and creatures will approach you.  A squirrel, an ant, whatever comes, see their beauty, see their amazing qualities.  Notice which animals came to you and thank them for coming.

Step 17 – Go outside into nature to a suitable place with the intention of honouring the reptiles.  Sit quietly, lovingly and harmlessly.  See what comes to you, maybe a lizard or snake.  Whatever comes, know they are totally harmless.  See their beauty and amazing qualities.  They each bring gifts and are a teacher.  Thank them for coming.

Step 18 – Go outside with the intention of connecting with the birds.  Stand or sit and let the birds come and fly around you.  Songbirds singing to you of the daily news and your magnificence.  A bird of prey soaring high in the sky, demonstrating clarity and perspective.  All the birds are teaching us about freedom.  Thank the birds from your heart.

Step 19 – Go to a green and leafy place.  Notice all the beautiful greens of healing nature surrounding you.  Marvel at the process of photosynthesis and how it keeps us alive.  Feel a sense of wonder for the greenery around you, how uplifting and refreshing it is.  Thank the leaves and ferns for all they give.

Step 20 – Go to a place in nature where there’s a rock.  You might sit on it.  It’s an ancient stone, solid and enduring.  It may have been there for millions of years, keeping and recording the history of that place.  Sit there with it and tune into it.  Maybe it has a message for you.  Thank the rock and send it your blessing.

Step 21 – Go to a place where there are crystals.  Your task is to send healing to the Earth where crystals have been dug out.  Be aware of the crystals that have developed deep, deep in the Earth, holding so much light.  Take a moment to send healing energy deep into the Earth where crystals are removed.  Send your love and gratitude to all crystals that allow themselves to be brought to the surface to fulfil a calling and that offer healing and transformation for the Earth and humanity.

Step 22 – Go outside when the stars are bright in the sky.  Sense their link to Earth and how all is interconnected.  How do the stars influence you?  Notice how vast the cosmos is and how every single star is relevant to the whole.  Send your loving gratitude and blessings to all the stars.

Step 23 – Go to the sea and call forth the dolphins.  Whether you see them or not, know they are there, hearing you.  Can you sense the compassion and healing heart that all dolphins have?  Sense and acknowledge the loving, healing compassion offered by the dolphins to you.  Thank them sincerely and extend to them your blessing.

Step 24 – Go to the sea and be aware of all the ocean life and fish, all in their place, all doing their bit to support the vast oceans.  Every kind of fish and sea creature has a role, so thank them all for their important roles, honour them and the ocean.

Step 25 – Be still and bring to mind the entirety of the planet and all of humanity.  Every single person on Earth, like yourself, received an invitation from Goddess Gaia to be here and for many, it’s a very difficult journey.  Take a moment to honour and recognise every courageous soul that came here, whether they are good or bad in our perspective.  Honour everyone for being here.

Step 26 – Take a moment to be still.  Be aware that everything and everyone is a part of the divine source.  All are one.  Truly, deeply recognise this. Take a moment to offer your gratitude to all-that-is.

Step 27 – Go outside and feel the sun on your skin, even though you cannot look directly at it, you can feel it.  Thank the great and glorious sun for all it does, bringing warmth and light to Earth and us all.  Honour the sun.

Step 28 – Go outside under the full moon and honour the moon.  The silvery moon is lighting up the world with gentle, soothing and healing light throughout the night.  Take a moment to thank and honour the moon.

Step 29 – There are many structures built by our ancestors that are created as energy portals.  Such are called chambered cairns, stone circles, pyramids.  Go to such a place if you can and acknowledge that it was built by wise ancestors who understood a deep and abiding connection with Earth.  Feel the connection.  Honour all these structures and their builders.

Step 30 – Go to the mountains.  They hold high energies and beings dwell there that sing out harmonics and raise the frequency of the world.  Honour these vast places and sense their awe. Ground it through your earth star chakra.

Step 31 – Go to the forest, know that all forests of the world are connected by a great network of underground, invisible fibres and roots.  The forests are a huge library of knowledge, holders of cosmic information.  A storehouse of wisdom.  Be aware of the vast forests on Earth, honour them and give gratitude for their many gifts.

Step 32 – Go within and honour the invisible world.  The unseen shares our space.  All around us, at all times, there are elementals, angels, dragons, unicorns and spirits of all kinds.  They are helping us raise our energies, guiding us. Take a moment to thank and honour them all, for they support and illuminate our way.

Step 33 – Go within and accept the other dimensions.  We live in a world that exists as much more than just physically.  We are multi-dimensional, multi-faceted and are surrounded and interwoven with other multi-dimensional energies and beings.  Accept them all as a part of your reality and experience, for it is the truth of your being.

When you have fulfilled all these steps, you will have awakened light-codes and blueprints that exist within your energy field, that will refresh and reset your purity and perfection as a daughter or son of Earth.

Blessed Be.

What’s On Your Tomb?

The ancient Egyptians honoured death and if they could afford to, they created the most amazing and beautiful tombs to house their bodies after they died. On the walls of the tomb, they depicted everything they wished to manifest in the afterlife, so that they could continue living their best life. Thus, we see hunting scenes, great feasts, family members gathered together in fondness, all the riches of life, the activities, objects and experiences they loved best. Sometimes, they depict themselves with the deities, as if they are saying, “Here’s one of me in the afterlife with my bestie, the great Goddess Isis!”

This was a form of transmutation to them, by magically depicting the world they wished to live in and filling it full of all they desired, they intended to draw the energy of that reality to them when they left their earthly existence.

The truth is, the spirit doesn’t need earthly things in the next realm, but it can manifest them if it so chooses. My grandfather never smoked during the years I knew him, so I was puzzled why he always brings the smell of tobacco when he visits me in spirit. One day, I asked my mother, she told me he had been a heavy smoker until he was diagnosed with cancer when I was a baby. He survived for nearly twenty years after that, as a non-smoker, during the years I remember him. Nevertheless, he seems to have chosen to revive that particular pleasure again, once arriving on the other side where smoking can do no harm.

The tomb I imagine for myself would depict the lush green richness of nature; woodlands, seashore, rivers and valleys. I will paint an underwater seascape of coral reefs and kelp forests with shoals of rainbow fish and a diving cormorant. A landscape filled with birds and wildlife belonging to the British isles; fox, stag, hawk, raven and bee. The ceiling shall depict a night sky with a mass of stars coalescing into the Milky Way.

All those I love shall be painted with me, whether physical or spiritual beings. I shall paint a temple of serenity for us to sit together in stillness and peace whilst we emanate loving vibrations for all that need them.

On the lower walls, the underworld shall be represented along with drumming, dancing, music, singing and chanting around a fire. I will honour and depict the Elemental Kingdom and the Crystalline Consciousness, call in divine magic and make sure my shamanic drum and painting kit are present for me to access from the other side. And there shall be as many cats as I have known in life, in their colours and patterns, each one illustrated with their earthly name.

If you could create, or have created, paintings and carvings to conjure up the world your spirit will live in after you die, what would you represent on the walls of your tomb?

Getting To Know the Inner Planes

Do you know somebody who’s a fan of dragons?

Do you know someone who loves unicorns?

What about fairies?

Now, you’re either with me or you’re thinking, “oh dear, what kind of rubbish is this?”

Have you heard of the inner planes?  I talk about them from time to time.  Some might refer to them as the spirit world.

We live on the physical plane.  Imagine an upside-down pyramid, one that stands on its tip.  Imagine that the tip of the pyramid is the physical plane.  As I understand it, the physical plane, upon which we reside, is the smallest part of reality.  It holds a great deal of opportunities for understanding the nature of our beings through the laws of separation, and it brings a lot of limitations.  In other words, there’s a lot to overcome and yet, it’s like fast-tracking the soul journey.  And the sensory experience here is unique so a lot of souls are queuing up to come.

Maybe you’ve heard of 5-D? We live as physical beings at 3-D or three dimensions on Earth. Then, there’s four, five and more dimensions as you travel up the pyramid and physicality becomes less and less apparent as expression manifests through emotional, mental and spiritual levels, and to us, that’s energy, because we, as physical beings, are a combination of all of them.

When you live on the inner planes, where it’s no longer physical expression, it’s a different kind of experience.  Things visually are not so sharp or seen with such clarity, a bit like existing in a soft, fine white mist.  Everything is soft.  That’s why, as a psychic medium, when I’m seeing things in my energy body, things are not seen like when we’re living day to day, they are visually vague and yet through the third eye, they are clear due to a certainty of knowing emotionally, mentally and spiritually.  And because the laws of physicality are not present, the possibilities of the higher dimensions, including the 5-D we are moving to here on Earth, become available.  It’s possible to travel in one’s energy body instantly to anywhere, and even possible to be in two or more places at the same time.

Where do dragons, unicorns and fairies come into it?  Well, many people have been looking for aliens from a physical perspective, whereas the beings that come from other stars and galaxies are existing beyond the physical dimension.  The inner planes are inhabited by many beings and energies that exist within our psyche, including dragons, unicorns, fairies and a whole heap more.  They are free to be present with us and many of us have, on a soul level, a longstanding relationship with some of these energies.

Fairies exist in the energetic within the very energy field of our planet, the Earth, they are nature spirits and it is possible to see them or sense them.  Dragons have been on Earth in the physical dimension in the past and they chose to move into the inner, energy planes.  From there, they have been helping humanity for aeons and many dragons have a strong kinship with souls that are existing as people upon the Earth now, they are walking amongst us again, albeit, not in three dimensions.  Unicorns are ascended horses, and even the horses manifested upon the Earth hold a soul level purpose as healers, so when they are unicorns, their horn is a focused light energy that is used for healing.  They are so powerful as healers, very much akin to angelic beings, and they offer a great deal of support to anyone who asks them for support.

If you wish to draw any of these energies into your life, all you need do is ask, and then engage.  Invite them in and let them be with you.

Life After Death – one

I know there is life after death. How? Well, for one, because that concept just feels so right that when I try it on, it fits like the most comfiest garment ever. Then, I have a huge catalogue of personal experiences that show me this is so. And I don’t question it anymore.

For me, death is no longer the polar opposite of life because life is a continuum that moves through and out the other end of the gateway we call death. And I suppose this view has a lot to do with being fully integrated with my soul. You see, once you are integrated with your soul, you are no longer looking at everything from the perspective of being only your current personality and body. I am Ananda who is the body and personality that my soul is expressing through, in this particular incarnation, but I am also so much more.

I am my soul and my soul is infinite and eternal. I believe that all souls were created at the same time and have incarnated many, many times, and not always on the Earth. Our souls are a projection of the divine source.

I am all of that. So far, I have regained part memory of a handful of other lifetimes, and it’s probably impossible to remember many more, it would be overwhelming and a distraction from being Ananda.

And I also sense that, as my soul, I have spent a great deal of time on the inner planes or spirit world, more so than living on Earth in a body. And I have a strong sense that I vastly prefer not being in a body, but existing in my light body in the non physical planes, so I’m really looking forward to getting back there again some day, and to do that, I need to die.

Actually, I spend a fair amount of time over there when I’m asleep, using my energy body, and maybe you do too.

If we didn’t forget about all that when we are born on Earth, we would spend the entire time yearning to get back home, because being in the light on the inner planes is our true home.

The moment we start to see ourselves beyond our limiting bodies and personalities, we change our relationship with death.

I met a person recently who told me she didn’t want to leave her current personality when she dies because that’s her identity. She is hoping to unite with a past love who already passed through the door of death and be together as the personalities she knows. Based on my understanding of the spirit world, we do remain in the same personality as a spirit, even after our soul has moved into another incarnation. Every being we ever existed as continues on in existence on the other side. Whether the consciousness that I am now remains within them, I don’t know. I do know that the same rules don’t apply on the other side.

On the other side, you can be in many places, interacting independently, at the same time. You can manifest the reality of your choosing instantly, limited only by your imagination. You can move freely and instantly to anywhere, just by intent. You exist as energy and are not subject to physical conditions.

And you return to your soul group, your family from where your soul belongs and the love and connection you experience there is simply beyond description.

When a person dies, their experience of the inner planes varies, depending upon how much they remember it and there’s often a period of reconnecting with that state. This need not be so for those that travel there often in their energy body, through sleep, meditation or shamanic or trance states, whilst they were alive, they arrive with everything up and running, so to speak.

When someone dies, it comforts me to know they are going home. They are moving into such freedom and peace and love and total healing. They are going to revisit their recent life and realise the truth of who they are in a truly beautiful and affirming manner. They are going to be so enraptured by the light, they would fight to stay there rather than return to Earth. And they will still see, hear and walk amongst all their loved ones left on Earth, if they choose.

Of course, left behind here, I will miss them and I will grieve their loss. But I always have a lot of compensation for that through all I know of their new conditions.

And I know how to reconnect with them in the energetic, even though it’s not the same as being in the physical together. We can still talk and I will feel them around me.

The soul finds it far easier to pass through the gateway of death than of birth. Being born on Earth is much harder than dying. And considering living here can be so difficult, so challenging, so painful in so many ways, despite providing the opportunities we require for growth, it sometimes amazes me that we want to stay here so much or that we fear death at all.

That said, I also remind myself of the incredible beauty and the rich gifts that are received in living as the well-loved and blessed children of Mother Earth, not to mention the tremendous growth and wisdom that comes from experiencing this earthly life. And there’s nowhere else quite like it in the universe of the Creator.

Welcoming The Goddess Energies

Recently, I’ve entered into training with the Fellowship of Isis, Goddess training that will take me a year to complete, so I predict some majorly Goddess inspired posts appearing from time to time.

And indeed, even though the course itself doesn’t start until July, I have already entered into conversation and exploration with fellow students about the goddess energies.

And that got me pondering about the way the Goddess vibe has really never not been in my life.  I can’t speak for the cradle, but from being a little girl I had the deepest relationship with this energy that was both the land and also a kind of body-less consciousness of a feminine nature.

This was my most nurturing relationship throughout childhood. I had a difficult childhood and the active emotional response I experienced towards my adopted mother was fear. My sense of self was soon diminished in early life, well before the age of seven, and I didn’t make friends. So, taking the family dog walking in my wild backyard twice a day was my salvation. That time with the dog and the land saved me. I connected to this loving, gentle energy that I eventually identified as Mother Earth. She was everywhere but most of all, she was felt when I was in the landscape, on my own, with or without the dog. Then, I felt loved and held. And rooted and free.

So, it’s not surprising that the Goddess has been a huge focus throughout my adult life. My mother may have invoked fear but she also modelled how empowered women can be. Nobody was more powerful than she was in our family, in my little girl world.

It’s understandable that we pick up our ideas of Goddess and God from early relationships with our personal mother-figure and father-figure, whoever they are.

The Goddess vibration is a consciousness, one that splits into a myriad of facets. And I do believe that there are women who walked on Earth in physical bodies, women who embodied feminine divine energy and eventually came to hold the vibration of the Goddess Consciousness in their being. They now exist in the energetic world as Goddess beings. I speak of Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, Lady Quan Yin, to name but a few.

I take this understanding to the myths and legends, and I am a mythology nerd. There, Goddesses abound. Not only Greek and Roman pantheons, but Norse, Celtic, Hindu, Native American, you can go anywhere and find Goddesses. There are many stories that represent her and yet, do not name her, like Sleeping Beauty, Snow White. She is everywhere. All these are her many aspects, her qualities and energies.

The more I explore the Goddess energies, the more is revealed and yet, I’ll never get to the bottom of it all. And, of course I won’t, I never could. That’s as it should be. There’s a point when you’ve just got to stop trying to understand and simply absorb all that you are given to hold.

But what I’ve come to pondering is why am I splitting the divine into Goddess and God, when we are embracing oneness? Why am I focusing on the Goddess now? What does that do to my relationship with the Creator? Which is paramount to me.

The Goddess Consciousness is the embodiment of the divine feminine, which is rising now towards unity, and the Creator is the embodiment of all-that-is, the embodiment of oneness. How do I reflect the divine feminine and divine masculine within me?

What’s your relationship with the Goddess like? Do you see past the personality of ‘Goddess’? Do you sense the energy, vibration, the consciousness of the divine feminine? Do you find the Goddess within you?

The Truth of Ascension

Not for the first time, I’d like to take a look at what is meant by the term ‘ascension’. It’s a big word and I think people have a variety of ideas about what is meant by it.

First, it helps to hold the concept of oneness in mind. It might not look like it from this Earthly perspective, but everything is one. There really is no separation and it’s true that we are, therefore, all ascending together.

Yes, not only are you and I ascending, but so are all beings on the Earth; humans, animals, insects, plants, tree spirits, nature beings, elementals, all that is of the Earth, seen and unseen, including, of course, Mother Earth herself.

And that’s not all, oneness includes all that is not of the Earth. Also ascending are all the star beings, archangels and angels, ascended masters, Goddess beings and the Creator, because we are all one.

It’s quite possible for one being to ascend in isolation, should it be on their life path, but in truth, we are all ascending all the time because ascending simply means ‘rising up’ and that refers to the increasing of our collective frequencies.

We are all connected, whatever happens to one impacts all. Even if one being ascends in isolation, it raises the vibration of us all.

So, ascension is constant, eternal and infinite. It’s like an eternal clock that is constantly moving, an energy that’s constantly expanding. And every now and again, in the timescale of the eternal, a critical moment is reached and realised.

But there is no such thing as past and future in multi-dimensional reality, and this critical moment on Earth has been, and is, expressing throughout all time, not just happening now.

We are going through a process, collectively as humanity, to bring the energies, consciousness and focus for humanity onto our oneness, not only with each other but with all-there-is. And the focusing point for all-that-is happens to be the Creator. So, oneness with the Creator, which is our truth but not yet our collective realised truth.

Due to the fact that all moments in time are happening simultaneously, the process of ascension that is playing out now is really playing out in every moment that ever happened on Earth, the world wars, the lives of Jesus, Buddha and Muhammad, the fall of Atlantis, the onset of farming, you name it, it’s all fundamentally inter-connected to this moment.

So, if collective ascension is happening now, what does it mean? What does it look like? Some people believe there are those that will make it and those that won’t, but that means there has to be a cut-off point, a moment we say, “sorry, you didn’t make it“. There is no cut-off. Some believe that, at this imaginary cut-off, those that made it will go somewhere else, heaven, paradise, the inner planes, somewhere better. Some are scared about this, after all, it sounds a lot like dying, doesn’t it? And as for making it, once again, implying a point of being unmade and made is not relevant to an ever expanding, ever unfolding energy of oneness.

You’re probably sensing where I’m going with this. These ideas are rooted in judgement and duality and are coming from the minds of those who are not yet understanding oneness. There is no better place, this is heaven and paradise. We change inside and see we are already there and always have been.

When we rise up or ascend, we naturally evolve in harmony with the ascension of the Earth and Mother Earth. On some levels nothing changes and at the same time everything changes.

What happens is we wake up to the truth of our being and gain liberation, empowerment, peace and compassion, for starters. We become what we choose because that’s what we’ve been doing all along, being what we’ve been choosing.

If there’s anything that we could be doing for our ascension, and maybe there’s not, we could be increasing the love we have for ourself. That needs to be in place before we are ready for the seed of oneness to find fertile soil in our hearts.
