Showing Up To Love

Do you realise

If we are to attain oneness and unity

As a human race

Anytime soon,

We had better start opening the door of our hearts,

We had better start spreading the love,

Being that beacon of light.

We had better stop holding back,

Fearing rejection,

Being polite,

Protecting our feelings.

No holding back now,

Nothing but honest to goodness

Authentic expression

Of totally ‘out there’ feelings

That radiate

One hundred per cent

Unconditional

Non-judgemental

Beautiful

Powerful

Supreme

Love

Identity

Who we are is so arbitrary.

What country we were born in.

What family we were born in.

The name that was chosen for us.

The religion and culture that was attributed to us.

The aspirations that were handed to us.

It’s all so abstract.

None of it really belongs to us at all.

And knowing that is what freedom is.

Loving Our Inner Children

Adults of any age, twenty, forty, even ninety, can act like children sometimes.

And I don’t mean in a fun and carefree way, I mean when we’re upset.

We go back to that childhood feeling of vulnerability when we had much less resources to call on in dealing with emotional upsets.

We act like children when one of our inner children is activated.

Maybe we’re petulant, maybe we don’t listen, we shout or scream, we get tongue-tied and can’t express ourselves. Maybe we lash out, blame others, cover up and say things we’re going to regret.

We’re far from our clear thinking adult self at those times and that’s because we’re feeling hurt and back in that feeling from our childhood.

We don’t have one inner child, we have one for each wound or trauma experienced.

Most of us will have many wounded inner children, each carrying a belief such as “I’m not worthy; I’m not lovable; people can’t be trusted.”

Every time something happens to trigger one of those beliefs, the little child who suffered the original wound and created that belief comes to the surface.

Then, when we’re hurt and emotional, it’s easy to find ourselves acting like a hurt child again at such a time.

And if someone in your life is acting that way from time to time, that’s probably why.

Give them a break and give yourself a break, we all do it, unless we heal those inner children and relieve them of the burdens they are desperately trying to address.

To heal, we go within, find our inner child.

Listen to our child, really hear our child.

Acknowledge, validate, love and embrace that child,

Then, we heal and integrate our inner child into our heart space, finally letting go of what was never our burden to carry. And that’s such a beautiful thing to do.

Emergence Four – Awake!

Just look at my lady’s slipper orchid, two flowers in full bloom. It’s now May and yet, the first flower opened in December, around Christmas! Isn’t that remarkable? Every year previously they have flowered for three months, but this year they surpassed themselves.

There’s a real emergence going on for me right now too.

My journey has been feeling like a birth process that finally reached the last push. Years of difficult labour are past and the waters broke already so now I’m ready for what’s about to be born.

My life, particularly a childhood of trauma is being transmogrified into something beautiful and incredible, something made of the most potent rose pink love. And it’s who I am, not a woman called Ananda, but who I really am beyond names.

I woke up this morning and there it was. All the answers I’ve been waiting for over the years. Clear as crystal. There, in my head before I opened my eyes, my soul destiny.

I know what I’m waiting for. I know what to do and not do, who I am and who I’m not. I know my soul purpose and how to express it. And I can see why I wasn’t ready to know until I got to this point.

I did the healing and now it’s time to fulfil my soul purpose for the new Earth ascension.

Now it’s time to get busy, I’ve got things to do, places to go, people to see. I’m making things happen and know they’re just going to flow, as long as I stay on track, because the Universe wants this too.

Everything that was already there, tantalising me as half the story, it’s coming into full focus.  Everything is blossoming.  My soul baby has been born and now she’s going to grow.

I did the healing and now I’m ready, it’s time.

What’s emerging for you, right now?

How do you feel about it?

How is your understanding of self changing?

Imperfect Is The New Perfect

Get comfortable with what’s not perfect,

Allow what’s imperfect in your life, imperfect in you.

These are precious gifts.

They bring treasures as well as pain.

Pain and suffering are so valuable.

When you experience and allow pain

You create space for the joy you’ve been missing.

Your imperfect is beautiful,

Let imperfect be your perfect.

Making Pearls From Grit

“When you create yourself, at some point you’re going to have to either let that creation go and take a chance on being loved or hated for who you really are, or you’re going to have to kill who you really are and fall into your grave grasping onto a character that you never were.

What is the grit that the pearl is built around? The pearl is the personality that you build around yourself as a protection against the thought, “If they ever find out that I’m worthless, if they ever find out that I’m not enough, I’ll be destroyed.”

The avatar you create and the cadence you come up with that’s pleasing to people, it takes them away from their issues and makes you popular, and then at some point you have to peel it away. It’s not who you are.

This is what everybody goes through when they create themselves to be popular or successful. You act a certain way and say a certain thing and lie through your teeth at times, and you do whatever you need to do to look like a winner.

And then at some point in your life you have to say, “I don’t care what it looks like. I found the hole in the psyche and I’m going through and I’m going to face the abyss of not knowing whether that’s going to be okay with everybody or not.”

At some point, they’re going to try to drown you in the middle of that abyss. But no, be the other guy. You told us you were this guy, the character you built, but no one can live with that forever.

People sometimes exist so completely in their character, they maybe don’t know how to get out of it or how to take another road. So, they might take the ultimate road, where they actually have to leave the planet to get out.

All we really yearn for is our own absence. We yearn for what happens at death.

I don’t have to worry about that anymore. I truly feel like if you ask me where I live right now, where the real me is, I would say that there’s a quiet, gentle seat in the universe that seems to contain everything and that’s where I am.

I don’t want anything. I have no ambition. I don’t have to go anywhere. That’s fascinating to me now….. the disappearing.”

– words by Jim Carrey (from the film ‘Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond’)

Go Inside!

If you’re looking for peace, go inside

If you’re looking for love, go inside

If you’re looking for healing, go inside

If you’re looking for magnificence, go inside

If you’re looking for yourself, go inside

If you’re looking for the Creator, go inside

Go inside, inside, inside!

This message is arising everywhere but what does it mean?

What is meant by ‘inside’?

Where is inside?

How do I get there?

Perhaps you’re thinking, “It won’t work for me, I’ve got nothing inside!”

What does this mean, already?!

‘Inside’ means your energy, which is your very being.

That energy centres around your body,

It integrates all your chakras, including the ones above and below your body.

Just a reminder, starting at the top; your stellar gateway, soul star, crown, causal, third eye, throat, higher heart, heart, solar plexus, sacral, root and earth star chakra.

You are the whole of your being, extending through all the energy fields that surround your body

The qualities you are looking for could be found anywhere within your energy field.

This energy is the true ‘you’ and it holds all you are, all you have ever been and all you can become.

It holds your memories, your emotional self, your consciousness.

And it is connected to all-that-is.

You connect with this energy by sitting or lying in stillness and quiet, perhaps closing your eyes, allowing your breathing to deeply relax.

Then, your focus or awareness can naturally move inside and connect with your energy body, without even trying.

The more you do this, the more qualities you will release and uncover that are waiting to be accessed.

This is called mastery and it is your birthright.

This is what they didn’t teach you at school but it’s the secret to empowerment, freedom, abundance, vitality and ascension.

You may use guided journey scripts or simply go with your own inner guidance.

Call your personal angel, guides, your soul or higher self, according to your preference, and ask them to guide you.

Maybe you will imagine yourself walking into a cave or through a doorway.

What are you seeking right now? Is it peace, love, healing, your soul purpose? Whatever it is, ask to receive what will help you find it.

When we go within, quite often, emotions will come up, they need to. Let them come.

Thoughts or images will surface, watch and let them go, don’t hang on.

Ultimately, it’s one of most enriching forms of nurture you can give yourself.

Breathe through it all. Your breathing is most important here, it’s your vehicle for moving the energy through and releasing what you are letting go of. Release with your breath.

When you find something precious, anything you wish to integrate into your totality, breathe it into your entire being and down into your earth star chakra below your feet to anchor it into your energy there.

That’s where you store your treasures and from where you can send them out into the world and into the Earth to manifest for you.

If you believe there’s nothing inside you, you may get nothing until you let go of that idea.

The more you go inside in this way, the greater the transformation you will experience.

Feeling Into People

The way we experience people is mainly through the feeling they bring up in us.

Each person we meet, the feeling we get is greatly or slightly different.

And that’s how we have a different relationship with each person, compared to the relationship anyone else has with them.

Because our experience of that relationship consists of both the energy coming from them and the energy coming from within us, and what happens when those energies meet.

That’s a different unique experience for everyone we meet.

And, as you know, those energies can change, as our relationships change.

If our experience of each other is essentially expressed as a feeling, then, the feeling remains even if we’re apart, whether we’re in different rooms or different countries or even in different realms, between life and death.

The feeling will remain.

I’m Not Enough!

‘Enough’ is a word I struggle with:

“I’m not enough.”

“I’m not good enough.”

And don’t even try to tell me, “You are enough.”

No, it’s not working for me.

‘Enough’ is a word of limitations.

Enough of what?

It needs to be quantified to work as a word.

There ARE no limitations anymore,

They’re all blown out the water.

We are existing at a limitless time,

So ‘enough’ doesn’t cut it anymore.

Not even ‘more than enough’ cuts it.

We are nothing short of MAGNIFICENT!

In The Death Zone

“In the death zone, I come alive” – Nirmal Purja, Mountaineer

We don’t live in the face of death everyday, maybe we live a safe life, never looking death in the eye. A tame life like that may feel unrewarding, as though we never really grab life by the balls.

Ordinarily, I’m not a thrill seeker or a risk taker, but I do step outside my comfort zone in numerous ways and this is inevitable as a shamanic practitioner.

To be a shamanic practitioner, especially one who supports the death process, it means making death one’s friend. It’s not the same as making fear one’s friend because fear isn’t trying to be our friend whilst death never wanted to be anything but a friend, it’s us who fight against that friendship.

Death is telling us we’re alive. Death asks, “Who are you, really? What do you want out of life? Where do your passions lie? What do you truly believe in?”

Death isn’t an ending, it’s a doorway. It’s in our lives every day in so many little ways. Every ending, transition, transformation, death is there. Without it, we don’t keep moving on the path of our fulfilment. Death is a transition from one state to another that we would not grow without.

How do you feel about endings? Do you embrace them?

Are you prepared to close doors and walk away from what no longer serves you?

Are you ready to risk losing it all?
