Conscious Eating

I just went outside and sat at the table on my patio to eat a delicious plate of freshly sliced mango and banana. I sat down and admired the distant sea view, remembering the first time I saw that view, on Valentines Day last year when I came to see the house as a prospective buyer. And that thought took me to another and another thought, and choo! choo! I was racing away on the thought train.

I looked down, I had nearly finished the plate of fruit and not a single sentiment of gratitude or recognition of the pleasure of eating this fine fruit had passed my lips.

I put my fork down, sat back and took a deep breath. Before I ate another morsel, I now chose to consciously connect with the experience of eating.

First, I spoke my gratitude out loud to Mother Earth and her soul, Goddess Gaia. To the Creator, the Elemental Kingdom, all the trees and plants. To the elements of fire, earth, air and water. To the animals, birds, insects, reptiles and sea creatures. I took a bite of mango, it was delicious, sweet and juicy. Mmmmm. I savoured each mouthful and thought of the nourishment this fruit was bringing to my being.

As I finished, I took a deep breath and felt that breath as nourishment also. It was air, yes, but I could detect the moisture in it, I was also taking in the element of water. And I was taking in the light with each breath, the element of fire.

This is how I wish to eat, consciously. Gratefully.

What To Do When You’re Struggling (And Also When You’re Not)

An important thing you can do whenever you’re struggling is find at least three, preferably five, things to do that day which are loving, nurturing and caring towards yourself.

Be fierce when it comes to loving yourself and you might bypass a whole heap of suffering and self doubt.

The Divine Source is not floating above you but exists at the very heart of your being.

Therefore, love yourself intensely and give yourself immeasurable support, attention and affection.

Andy’s Prayer

This is Andy’s Prayer, it’s an updated version of The Lord’s Prayer, which is the prayer that Jesus taught his disciples to say.

Those that know me will surely know Andy too. He is the soul that my soul came into this life to spend thirty-nine wonderful years with, living and loving side by side. As souls, we looked for each other and, upon meeting, there was recognition. We have given each other nourishment at every level. We have grown together, enabled each other and learned so much from each other. As souls, we will always hold each other in our hearts.

Andy finished writing this prayer two days ago on Twosday. Day 22 of month 02 in the year 2022

A palindrome number and a day that was full of powerful manifesting energy of transformation.

Soul Maker

Divine Source of the infinite

Sacred is your name

Our existence in all things come

Your intent manifestly done

Upon Gaia as within the multiple realms

Shared amongst us your true divinity

And forgive us our blinded ego

As we too forgive our connected kin

Guide us not to harm

And protect us from deception

For ours are the multiple universes

The creation of all beings

Elemental and Angelic

Body, Mind and Soul: We Are Changing

There is so much going on these days, energy-wise, do you feel it?

Right now and ongoing, the energies that are pouring into the Earth-sphere that are available to us all, they are radiating many powerful qualities. Some of these energies are activating within us naturally and we don’t even need to be aware. But if we are aware, we can consciously boost and focus those energies to fulfil our own personal intentions.

One of the major areas of vibrational convergence is the blending of physical and non-physical energy, so that what is being received from the inner planes is seeping through, not only spiritually, emotionally and mentally but physically too.

Our bodies are changing, literally realigning as energy and flesh, blood and bone. Our cells and DNA are updating. Everything and everyone is levelling up. The consequence of this means that, as the old energy comes to the surface to be released and make room for the new, we may experience an increase of pains, symptoms, bodily sensations, emotions and mental turmoil. This is a part of the cleansing and releasing process that underlies the rebuilding and recalibrating of our multi-faceted being.

Perhaps you are aware of this. Perhaps there are symptoms and feelings expressing for you that you’re struggling to understand. Perhaps you’re changing your understanding and attitude towards your body, towards the nutrients that you’re choosing to put in your body. Thanks to the recent changes, our bodies need much less food than we’re used to, it’s okay to leave behind the three-meals-a-day habits of a lifetime and follow your body’s impulses.

Perhaps movement is the expression that your body is focusing upon. Maybe you have the desire to dance or walk or run or stretch or simply do more. Or less, maybe your body is needing rest and your impulse or conditions are bringing you to increased stillness, silence, peace and solitude.

What’s changing for you?

Take the opportunity to check in with your body more often. 

To ask your body what it needs.

To notice where the choices you are making are changing your life and your being.

Get involved, make new intentions and send them out, what are you choosing for your new self?

Are you choosing health? That all your existing health conditions recalibrate and heal? Are you choosing energy and vitality? Are you seeing yourself grow more flexible, active and lively every day?

You can change your health and wellbeing if you choose to energise those intentions now.

What are your intentions for your body? 

How would to choose to improve your relationship with your body?

It’s all possible now, due to the energy available to us all.

Easily and simply, we can do this just by utilising our intentions and focus.

Choose. Then surrender, trust, accept and receive the energies that are already within and around you, energies that can manifest your wishes.

Journey Beyond the Veil

Have you ever been present at the moment someone died?

In my experience, the energy often begins to change before the moment of the soul passing on. It begins from the moment the personality and soul align their acceptance of the transition.

In sudden death situations, everything may seem to be happening quite fast from the outside, but to the person dying, it all really does slow right down and every moment is experienced in full presence, so the moment that inevitability is grasped by the personality, they are aligned with the soul who already knew the event was about to happen, because the event couldn’t have happened without the soul calling it in.

It’s not one’s life that flashes across ones eyes at such a moment but a profound in-the-moment knowing of truth. A peace and stillness, even in the face of chaos and great trauma. The consciousness is already detached, even before the body can be declared dead.

By the bedside of a dying loved one, you can sense a profound change in the atmosphere of the room from the moment your loved one comes to a place of peace with their imminent passing. Some time before they finally take their last breath, loved ones in spirit and one or more angels may well be present in the room. Perhaps their soul family will be there, sometimes, even an archangel.

If you are still and allow your breathing to slow, you might sense these presences and if you do, it will feel so peaceful and loving in that room. For us, the trick is to let go of the fear of death and loss so we can be fully present with the consciousness and soul of the person who is transitioning.

And when that last breath is taken, the one who is passing will already be above you. They may be greeting a beloved who is waiting for them on the other side, already wrapped in their arms. They are experiencing the most incredible moment imaginable, a moment of transition and their attention is turned away from their earthly existence as they contemplate a new understanding, that they are a light being and they have come home to their truth.

Already, all their ills have left them, they are free from all health-related restrictions, free from pain, suffering and danger. They are embraced in love and peace. It’s such a powerful moment, like a nuclear bomb of love, peace and truth has just exploded in that place. If you are still and if you can atune to your inner peace, you will feel it.

When your loved one has breathed their last, they are, in that moment, grounding all that beautiful energy into the Earth for you and everyone else. Their love for you is magnified by the realisation of their transition, for they experience a huge surge of energy in that moment that elevates their entire being to a much higher vibration. Which means their wisdom, understanding, love and compassion is profoundly increased.

Don’t panic at such a time, don’t start over-thinking about what it all means, just be there with them. It’s such an honour and a privilege. Wouldn’t you want that, when your time comes? Someone to be with you who can calmly hold the space for you? Your love and presence is all it takes to support them on their journey beyond the veil.

Seeing The Light: Death As Birth

Imagine you’re sent away from everyone you love and who love you, everyone who understands you. Imagine you go to a place where existence is difficult, not least because you have a bad case of amnesia and can’t remember who you are or where you’re from.

Perhaps, you don’t feel like you belong, as though somewhere, deep down, you know you’re not home. Despite this, it’s not all hard work, there’s a lot to learn here, you’re becoming more aware of your truth and enjoying the delights that life has to offer.

Then, one day, through a situation that makes you think it’s the end of the road, that your life is over, suddenly there’s a great light. Life has brought you your death because your soul called it. It’s time to go and Life has finished with being your teacher. You didn’t want to die but the light feels so peaceful, so calm and so full of love. You’ve never felt anything as wonderful as this before.

But wait, wasn’t this what home felt like? All of a sudden, you know that your true home and true soul family and everything you’ve always been missing is right there on the other side of the light.

You only wish to enter the light and go home, nothing has felt more blissful, more beautiful, more right, for as long as you remember. You know there are loved ones that you’ll be leaving behind, if you go, but you instinctively know it’s their home too and one day they’ll be with you again. And you know that, from where you’re going, you can visit them whenever you wish.

As you step forward to enter the light, you experience the greatest surge of the most profound bliss and love and peace. It cannot be understood except by being there. You are simply aware of your oneness with all, your love of all, your divine unity.

Your true form, as a being of light is revealed to you. For a moment, you sense yourself suspended, floating between the indescribable beauty of planet Earth and the divine light before you. In that moment, the surge of love and truth that opened you up and revealed your divinity, is grounded and anchored into the planet, like a shaft of lightning. Mother Earth is present and she gifts the energy of that moment to all the beings living on Earth. This is your gift to your loved ones on Earth, for in this moment, you love every being in equal measure. In the next instant, a connecting cord is untethered from Earth and you are free to gently drift into the light.

As you enter the light, familiar figures come forward with beaming faces to greet you with such heartfelt love. And you know, at last, you are home. It’s as though you have been reborn and you’ve finally woken up from a strange dream.

What does it mean to be alive, now?

I’m having a day full of wow moments today. Even when experiencing the ‘everyday’, I’m seeing wonder where I wouldn’t previously have noticed it, wondrous moments that usually appear as the mundane.

Just now, a magpie landed on a nearby tree. I watched it, marvelling at its beauty and wondered if it was also having a wow moment or simply accepting the now. Another magpie swooped by and the one on the branch watched it, there was a kind of dance of knowing between them.

Somehow, all this seemed quite magical, amazing, like a gift of life. Like being super-aware. Like tuning in at a much deeper level. Like connecting with the magpie and the tree somehow. Maybe like if you take certain drugs and yet no drugs were taken. And I realised in that moment, nothing outside of me changed, what changed to create this incredible perception is me inside.

I also find there are times when I feel like I might cry and nothing is going on to justify it. Just a momentary welling up of emotion. At first, this concerned me because feeling tearful must mean deep sadness is trying to surface, surely? But then I noticed it wasn’t sadness, it was a kind of poignancy, even joy. A recognition of a deeper connection with life.

The take-home message is that wonder and magic are everywhere, all the time. This world we live in is paradise now, we just need to learn how to see it that way. We already are enlightened and awake. It’s just a question of a shift inside us. We let go of the expectations and agreements that deaden us to the wonder and all of a sudden, wow!

On Where To Look For God

“God likes to play hide-and-seek, but because there is nothing outside of God, God has no one but themself to play with. But they get over this difficulty by pretending that they are not themself. This is God’s way of hiding from God.

God pretends that they are you and I and all the people in the world, all the animals, plants, all the rocks and all the stars. In this way, they have strange and wonderful adventures, some of which are terrible and frightening. But these are just like bad dreams, for when God wakes up they will disappear.

Now, when God plays “hide” and pretends that they are you and I, God does it so well that it takes God a long time to remember where and how they hid themself. But that’s the whole fun of it, just what God wanted to do.

God doesn’t want to find themself too quickly, for that would spoil the game. That is why it is so difficult for you and me to find out that we are God in disguise, pretending not to be God. But, when the game has gone on long enough, all of us WAKE UP, stop pretending, and REMEMBER that we are all one single Self – the God who is all that there is and who lives forever and ever.

You may ask why God sometimes hides in the form of horrible people, or pretends to be people who suffer great disease and pain. Remember, first, that God isn’t really doing this to anyone but God. Remember too, that in almost all the stories you enjoy there have to be bad people as well as good people, for the thrill of the tale is to find out how the good people will grow as they get the better of the bad.”

When creating, we are co-creating with the Divine Source.

Through creativity, we speak our truth and express our authentic self. This is the path of the soul. And this is healing in action.

Creativity is play and being playful is a spiritual activity.

When we play, we relax. In relaxation, we naturally connect with the divine flow.

When we laugh and have fun, ego naturally falls away. We are living life in conscious presence, we are accepting the flow of life.

The universe is our playground and the soul journey transforms life into play and laughter, if we invite it to and allow it.

Let past and future drop away….it’s time to embrace creativity and play!

About Your Spirit Guides

Your guides are your own personal spiritual support team.

Some of them may be with you for life

Some may come and go as you need them.

Sometimes, as we grow spiritually, we attract more guides to our side.

They aren’t there all the time, but they will come whenever you call.

And they will come when you do something they can help with.

Guides are specific, they each have a speciality

There are guides for healing, for music, for writing, for cooking, for art.

There are guides for meditation, for finances, for swimming, for drumming.

There are guides for running, for singing, for medicine, for working with plants or crystals or trees.

You name it, there are guides for it, they exist on the inner planes, in energy bodies, they have been trained and have dedicated themselves to help you and others. 

Your guides work with many people, not only you and we each have a different combination of guides, depending on our focus and the activities we engage in that attract guidance.

There’s no time or space on the inner planes so they can be anywhere, everywhere at once. 

So, don’t worry about over-working them, you can’t.  Don’t worry about taking up all their time, they don’t exist in time so have all the time in the world for you and the entirety of humanity, if needed.

If you’re a healer, when you’re healing, one or several experts in healing will be with you, inspiring you, working through you if you invite them.  When you dance, if you’re a dancer or dance is your way of expressing your truth, an inner planes dancer will channel through you to support your work. 

So, when you do things that are your soul path, your passion, your truth, get out of the way and let your guides do their work, let them come through and you will be surprised at what you produce, how easily it flows. 

You don’t need to get to know your guides intellectually, but if you wish to know them better, meditate. Visualise a special place and imagine going there to meet one of your guides at a time. Ask your guide to share some information or just sit with them and feel the energy. 

Your guides are not the ones who are your constant support, that’s coming from your angelic support, your soul and soul group, also from your loved ones in spirit. Your soul group are the beings you came from, or more correctly, came through, since you came from the divine source. You could say they are your soul’s family. They are a collective energy through which your soul extended.

Your soul group are always available to you, always loving you and ready to support you. And not only them but others who you might wish to call your affiliate soul family. These are beings and collective energies who have been present with your soul for much of your soul’s journey, very closely and from a place of deep love. Your soul may have worked with or learned from them, perhaps you have been together over many, many lifetimes. They are like most dearest friends who are akin to your family. Even now, you may well be visiting with your soul group or affiliate soul family during your sleep time.  

Your guides are the ones who inspire you and help your ideas, intuition, skills and abilities to blossom and grow. They support your ascension and help you unfold your soul’s purpose.  But when you call out and say; “Help me, I am struggling, I need your love, your peace, your blessing and healing today,” you are not addressing your guides but talking to the Creator, to your soul, your soul group or your personal angel.  

And you can call on others from the inner planes too, maybe ascended masters, archangels, star beings, goddess beings or your very own loved ones in spirit who have chosen to be there for you. Take time every day to connect, they are all your very own spiritual support team.  You are blessed and you are never alone, the more you tune in, the more you will know this.
